Fort Street - Marietta - 3BR - Pet Friendly - Location!

Great house, just very small for a family of 4 who stayed for two weeks. Photos don’t show how small one of the bathroom ms was or one of the rooms. But great communication, ease of everything. We enjoyed our stay.

The electricity stopped working in 3 rooms - lights flickered and you would be lucky to be able to use one light total in these 3 rooms at any given time. Washer vent must have been clogged - it took 3 cycles to dry clothes. Bathroom door didn't fit - had to be slammed very hard to close. Cabinets on island had no drawer pulls - very odd choice. We checked out early due to the electrical issues. I contacted the host to ask for a refund for the days we were no longer in the house and whatever refund beyond that she would like to give me for our troubles. She said "VRBO doesn't allow for early checkout." When I reiterated that we were leaving due to the electrical issues and that having no electricity in part of the house was unacceptable, she ghosted me. I have never written a bad review for a rental property, even when things weren't great, but I couldn't let this one go.

Clean and cozy!

We were desperate for a place to stay while a parent had an extended time in the hospital. Our host was more than gracious and considerate of our needs. We were conveniently close to the hospital and places to eat. The house was clean, comfortable and welcoming after long days at the hospital.
